POPETH RECEIVES NOMINATION AT LONDON’S INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS - AIM 2025
Côsh Records is pleased to announce that Popeth, the pop music project fronted by composer and producer Ynyr Roberts, has been nominated for the ‘PPL Award - Most Played New Independent Artist’ at this year’s AIM (Independent Music) Awards 2025.
Among the nominations this year are artists such as Bon Iver, Fontaines D.C., Chloe Qisha, Ezra Collective and Wet Leg, the AIM Awards 2025 ceremony will be held at the Roundhouse, Camden, London on Tuesday 23rd September.
“Popeth is a new project, with an emphasis on collaboration to produce Welsh language pop music for the world!” says Ynyr. “The project is a progressive and inclusive movement composing glittery and positive club/dance music in a thriving music-scene in Wales. To be handed a nomination for an AIM Award means so much to me, at this early stage of the journey, and will hopefully provide opportunities for more collaboration and exciting new music.”

Most composition have also given emerging artists opportunities to star on the tracks and to use the song as a springboard to launch their own career as solo artists. This ethos of collaboration and showcasing such amazing, and sometimes unheard, voices is what makes Popeth such an interesting act to follow - we’re looking forward to see what Popeth will do next!”

POPETH YN DERBYN ENWEBIAD YNG NGWOBRAU CERDDORIAETH ANNIBYNNOL PRYDEINIG - AIM 2025
Mae’n bleser gan Recordiau Côsh gyhoeddi bod Popeth, project y cyfansoddwr a’r cynhyrchydd Ynyr Roberts, wedi’i enwebu ar gyfer y wobr ‘Gwobr PPL am yr Artist Annibynnol Newydd a Chwaraewyd Fwyaf’ eto eleni yng Ngwobrau AIM 2025.
Ymysg yr enwebiadau eleni gyda artistiaid fel Bon Iver, Fontaines D.C., Chloe Qisha, Ezra Collective a Wet Leg, bydd seremoni Gwobrau AIM 2025 yn cael ei chynnal yn y Roundhouse, Camden, Llundain ar Nos Fawrth 23ain o Fedi.
“Prosiect gyda phwyslais ar gydweithio i gynhyrchu cerddoriaeth pop Cymraeg i’r byd ydi Popeth!” meddai Ynyr. “Mae’n brosiect blaengar a chynhwysol sy’n cyfansoddi caneuon clwb/dawns ddisglair a hapus o fewn sin cerddorol cyffrous a llewyrchus yma yng Nghymru. Mae derbyn enwebiad arall ar gyfer Gwobr AIM yn golygu cymaint i mi, ar y cam cynnar hwn o daith Popeth, a gobeithio bydd y sylw yn creu cyfleoedd ar gyfer mwy o gydweithio a chyfansoddi cerddoriaeth newydd gyffrous yn y dyfodol.”
Ychwanega Ywain Gwynedd, sylfaenydd Recordiau Côsh: “Mae Popeth yn artist sy’n cynhyrchu alawon pop bachog.
